"He was famished when he arrived..."
Monday, August 15, 2011 was a historic day for Cannon Falls and The Old Market Deli when President Barack Obama made his world famous visit. He spoke to the residents and put our own Old Market Deli on the international map when he dined here with four companions. He was said to be "famished" when he arrived.
"He told us he’d definitely recommend us. Maybe he was just being nice, but he did clean his plate."
